For Diageo x Super Bowl LIX, the challenge was to go bigger than ever before. With the NFL as the biggest sport in America, and alcohol deeply ingrained in game day rituals, our task was to win with sports at scale and make Diageo’s portfolio synonymous with every key NFL moment, all season long.
We focused on driving occasion relevancy and conversion among 21–29-year-old fans, without alienating 30+ drinkers, by embedding priority brands like Captain Morgan, Crown Royal, and Smirnoff into the big game. Building on three successful years of partnership, this phase required fresh thinking to elevate the integration, outpace competitors, and prove that Diageo is the go-to roster for game day.
